FIRST BULLETIN ( RUS )

General Information:

The Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research organizes the International Student School "Selected Topics in Nuclear Theory" (STNT2004). The conference will be held at Dubna, Moscow Region, Russia, on July 20-29, 2004.

The School program will cover new theoretical development in studies of nuclear structure phenomena from stable nuclei to borders of stability, nuclear physics with radioactive beams, manifestation of nuclear structure in nucleus-nucleus collisions at different energies.

The list of main topics include:

  • nuclear excitations at various energies;
  • nuclei at high angular momenta and temperature;
  • structure and reactions at limits of nuclear existence;
  • clusters features in reactions and structure of nuclei;
  • astrophysical aspects of nuclear structure;
  • phase transition in nuclear matter;
  • hypernuclei
