The International Workshop on "Finite quantum systems"
will be organized by the Bogoliubov Laboratory
of Theoretical Physics of the
Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna in 1998.
The main objective of the Workshop is to provide valuable scientific information as well as a good introduction to current research for postgraduate students and young researchers. Traditionally, Dubna is a meeting place for physicists from East and West, and we hope that the Workshop will provide a unique opportunity for contacts, scientific and human, between outstanding researchers and young scientists. |

There will be invited lectures by professors
and brief talks by experienced participants of the Workshop.
We suppose that the professors will find it possible to deliver
a set of lectures (1-3 or even more) to cover the problem in details.
The Organizers would appreciate if invited
speakers would come with some of their PhD and postdoctoral students.
The Workshop will combine both the types of contributions
to increase the effect of scientific contacts.
The total number of participants will be about
40 people.
