GENERAL INFORMATION

Dear Colleague,

We would like to inform you that the next in the series of Prague International Workshops on spin physics research programs, International Workshop "SYMMETRIES AND SPIN" - PRAHA-SPIN-2000 , organized by the

with the support of the will be held in Prague, Czech Republic on July 17-22,2000 with the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University serving as the host.

TOPICS

The main feature of "PRAHA-SPIN" workshop series is to take the broadest possible view of the discipline by inviting distinguished speakers, both theoreticians and experimentalists, from different collaborations aiming at the research of symmetry phenomena in various physics disciplines. The role of spin as one of the key elements in present and future development of particle, nuclear, atomic and solid state physics and astrophysics will be discussed. Important aim of Prague meetings is also to promote contacts between researchers from different fields of physics to review and discuss the present status and further development of their research.

Topics to be discussed include:

We would highly appreciate your participation in the workshop and your contribution to its program. We consider your experience and expertise very important for the success of collaborative efforts in these fields of physics.
