IX WORKSHOP ON HIGH ENERGY SPIN PHYSICS
Spin-01
Dubna, August 2-7, 2001

INFORMATION BULLETIN
The Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research is organizing the
"IX-th International Workshop on High Energy Spin Physics",
which will take place in

Dubna, on Russia August 2-7, 2001

20 years ago the Symposium on High Energy Spin Physics was held in Dubna chaired by Prof. L.I. Lapidus. This was followed by the series of biennial workshops in the odd years, between International Spin Physics Symposia. The last one was in Prague, Czech. Republic, September 1999.

The IX Workshop will take place in Dubna on August 2-7, 2001 under the sponsorship of JINR, the International Committee for High Energy Spin Physics Symposia and Russian Foundation for Basic Research as a joint Dubna-Prague-Warsaw workshop.

We hope that this gives a possibility to a large group of physicist from Czech and Polish laboratories and Universities to participate in the Workshop.

About 70 scientists from different laboratories are expected to participate.

Scientific Programm
The workshop will cover a wide range of spin phenomena at high and intermediate energies such as:

Place of the workshop

The Workshop will be held in the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, 141980 Dubna, Moscow Region, Russia. The programm of the workshop will include plenary and parallel sessions. Plenary sessions will be held in the Conference Hall. Parallel sections will take place in the same building. The invited speakers will give talks on new experimental and theoretical results and recent progress in technology. Time allotted for an invited talk should not exceed 40 minutes, and that for an original reports - 15 minutes. The participants can submit original reports to the Organizing Committee.

The Workshop working language will be English .
