The workshop on "NEW MODELS AND NUCLEAR METHODS IN BIOPHYSICS AND BIOCHEMISTRY"   will be held in Dubna, January 24-26, 2002. It aims at bringing together those who are involved in biophysics and biochemistry researches, on the one hand, and the physicists and mathematicians engaged in problems of physical models of the biological structures, on the other. The participation of experts from Czech Republic, Germany and Russia is expected. The meeting will be performed mainly in order to consider: 

• the potentialities of the JINR basic facilities with reference to biophysical experiments
• mathematical modeling of genetical structures and biochemical processes
